OPeNDAP allows one to give a application a url and have it directly download data. To read this data into matlab use 
loaddap('http://maprom.malimeteo.ml/SOURCES/.WORLDBATH432/.bath/Y+differences/%5BX+%5Ddetrend-bfl/dods')
